During Autumn months our turf goes through a stringent conditioning process to ensure it remains greener and healthier throughout the winter. Generally December weather is wet and windy but not excessively cold so we rarely stop cutting.

Turfing in mild frost is perfectly acceptable and many contractors will continue whatever the weather with no negative effect to the turf.

Laying Turf in December will ensure the turf is well established, ready for use in the spring and there will be little need for watering.
